Space Party

                                                                           Space Party

This was my sons Zackary's 5th Birthday party, so It is old but was one of my favourite to make and plan. The kids absolutely loved it. Everything was home made (just the way I like it) and didn't really cost a thing. Which is even better. I love parties that are creative and cheap to do. So it may not all be store bought but the time I spend and the things I come up with are ways I show home much I love my children:)

Zackary wanted a space theme party so I made a whole bunch of Astronaut Helmets. I paper mache'd them all. It took a long time. But they turned out super cute!

I set it up in the basement and tried to make it look as space like as possible. They all got glow sticks. I set up some music that sounded like a spaceship taking off.

This is the space ship I made it out a a box, obviously , I am beginning to think you can make anything with a box. I spray painted it silver and taped and glued and it turned out pretty impressive I think. There was a flap door at the back they could get into.

The cake wasn't fantastic by any means but I gave it my best shot. Someone kept eating the candies off it and I had to keep replacing it. It wasn't very funny to me at the time but now it is.

I made some really cute invites in the same shape as the spaceship but I didn't take pictures. They had Silver tinsel hanging off the bottom and a magnet on the back so it could be placed on the fridge.

Kayden wanted a knights Birthday party for his 4th Birthday. So took out my thinking cap and this is what I came up with.
Simple but cute. They all got crowns and Shields and swords. They decorated the crowns and the off they went to play. Super easy.

I remember them having more fun then this picture shows. i think they were getting tired of taking pictures!

Then the cake. I think it was one of the best one I have done. Kayden loved it!

It wasn't the most exciting but it was still fun!
